I grew up in the inner city of Kansas City, in an immigrant neighborhood, with a single mom. I watched my mom struggle so much and continues to do so because she’s never had anyone to guide her. She was the black sheep of the family. She is white from Texas and had three children out of wedlock with men of color. I saw her sacrifice, but also I understood that she wasn’t living up to her potential. She was my Cinderella. This gave me the drive to help women like her, those who struggle to see the potential they have within themselves.

I’m Ash. Please think of me as your fairy career mother. I’m here to help women as you succeed professionally, aiming to increase the number of women of color in leadership positions. Since 2018, I have helped hundreds of people realize their potential by putting their “personality on paper.” I’m a seasoned career strategist, graphic designer, writer, web designer, and, above all, a storyteller.

I’m a Latina with nearly 15 years of agency and in-house experience. I have five-plus years of reporting into the executive level and seven years of leading teams of managers, designers, writers, and videographers. I’m a strategic, results-driven marketer with a knack for creating content that engages audiences. I’ve worked with major brands like Amazon, discovery+, HGTV, Hulu, Pizza Hut, Sugarbear Hair, and the Kardashians. My specialties include DEI, creative direction, and brand marketing. 

I’m a mom to a beautiful baby boy named Arie and the proud wife of an Army Ranger. We have two dogs, Penelope and Lorelei. I’m obsessed with home decor and taking pics of my son. My favorite podcast is Dark History with Bailey Sarian. My favorite place in the world is Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. And I’m currently listening to BBE on Spotify.🫰🏽
